As Morgan Distributing continues to grow its lubricant footprint in the Midwest, they continue to add high-end talent to fill their Territory Sales Manager roles.
Mason’s new career in sales and marketing has been somewhat unorthodox with the Covid-19 pandemic starting shortly after his hiring. This required him to learn through a multitude of conference calls and virtual trainings to help him grasp key concepts along with product knowledge. Mason goes on to say “It has been an interesting way to start my life post college, but it has given me more time to see how the company goes to market.” When asked about his role at MDI he stated that “ I really enjoy the challenge of moving to a new place and learning how I can be a valuable asset to the company. I am learning everyday, and trying to apply that knowledge where I can.”
Mason’s focus had been on growing existing business, as well as creating new business opportunities for MDI’s Cape Girardeau branch. Mason’s preferred segment of business is in the industrial sector, but says he still has a lot to learn. When asked about what he enjoys most about his new position he says “I love seeing how we can offer creative solutions to our customers problems in more ways than just delivering them oil.”
Mason says he has always been an outgoing person and has never denied the fact that he might end up in the sales field. When not working you can find him staying active through a variety of outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family. Mason looks forward to working with you!
